Welcome to the world of medical
simulation! Medical and dental practitioners at the VAMC
San Francisco learn how to perform a variety of
procedures, from CPR to cardiac surgery, using life-like
robotic simulations.
Richard Fidler is Director of
Healthcare Simulation Programs at the San Francisco VA
Medical Center. He also works clinically as a Certified
Registered Nurse Anesthetist. He holds a PhD in Clinical
Biomedical Monitoring Technology from UCSF, an MS in
Acute & Critical Care Nursing from the University of
Pittsburgh, and an MBA from the University of Virginia -
Darden Graduate School of Business Administration.
